Dr. Anil Kumar Paidi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and the Interdisciplinary Program (IDP) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from IIT Madras, where he focused on Solid-State Chemistry for various applications. Following his doctoral work, he pursued postdoctoral research at the Department of MEMS, IIT Bombay, India, concentrating on the synthesis and electrochemical evaluation of novel cathode materials. He later joined the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL), affiliated with POSTECH, South Korea, as a Research Scientist, where he contributed significantly to the development of sustainable battery materials and synchrotron-based material characterization. His research interests lie at the intersection of solid-state chemistry and energy storage, particularly in the design and synthesis of battery materials, their integration into electrochemical systems, and their structural evaluation using advanced techniques. Dr. Paidi’s interdisciplinary approach aims to address critical challenges in clean energy and sustainable material design.
